Oxygen Concentrators

  • Is the power cord plugged into the electrical outlet?
  • Is there power in the electrical outlet?
  • Is the power switch on?
  • Inspect house circuit breakers or fuses.
  • Turn off concentrator and press the reset button usually located near the on/off switch
  • Check tubing for kinks or blockage
  • Are the cabinet filters clean? Clean the cabinet filters once a week.
  • The low flow alarm starts beeping when the flowmeter dial is set below 0.5 LPM. Set the flowmeter dial above .5 LPM to the prescribed flow and the alarm will stop beeping.

Oxygen Regulators

  • Is the regulator secured tightly to the top of the tank?
  • Remove the regulator, has the washer been removed from inside the regulator?

  • Is the power cord plugged into the electrical outlet?
  • Is there power in the electrical outlet?
  • Is the power switch on?
  • Is the HOMEFILL II COMPRESSOR connected to the OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR?
  • Make sure that the flowmeter dial on the oxygen concentrator is at 3 LPM or below. The compressor will not fill the cylinder if the flowmeter is set above 3 LPM.
  • Make sure that you connect the cylinder properly to the connector fillport on the compressor.
  • Turn the HomeFill II power switch on after the cylinder is locked into place.

  • Do you have all the parts of the nebulizer cup? Make sure there are no missing parts.
  • Is the nebulizer cup properly assembled?
  • Are there any cracks in the nebulizer cup?
  • Is the cap screwed on the jar properly?

  • Is the power cord plugged in?
  • Is the power in the electrical outlet that you are using?
  • Check if there is air flowing out of the Compressor Air Outlet when you turn on the power switch.
  • Check if the air filter is clean.

Hospital Beds

  • Is the power cord plugged into the electrical outlet?
  • Is there power in the electrical outlet?
  • Which part of the bed is not moving? Are there any objects or furniture that may be obstructing the movement of the head or foot of the bed?

Hospital Bed Rails

  • If the bedrail locking pin is stuck, it may need a little oil.
  • If the bedrail falls down, the locking pin may be too short to lock in or it may have a defective locking pin.

Alternating Pressure Mattress (APM/LAL)(Group II)

  • Is the power cord plugged into the electrical outlet?
  • Is there power in the electrical outlet?
  • Are there any visable leaks?
  • Check tubing for kinks or blockage
  • Have the hoses become disconnected?
  • If the mattress seems soft, increase weight setting by 15 lbs on the control unit
  • Check tubing for kinks or blockage

Alternating Pressure Pad (APP)(Group I)

  • Is the power cord plugged into the electrical outlet?
  • Is there power in the electrical outlet?
  • Are there any visable leaks?
  • Check tubing for kinks or blockage
  • Have the hoses become disconnected?
